Job summary

KordaMentha in Australia is seeking a Principal Architect to shape its Data & AI capability. You will design modern cloud data platforms and advise CIOs, CDOs and CFOs on technology strategy, balancing business value with risk and governance.

Based in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, you will mentor teams, lead architecture reviews, and create reusable patterns across multi-cloud environments including Microsoft, Databricks and other leading tools.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data architecture, cloud platform, data engineering or AI transformation engagements.
• Deep expertise across modern cloud, data and AI technologies with scalable solutions.
• Trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders, including CIOs and executives.
• Experience translating business objectives into technology strategy and roadmaps.
• Leading architecture reviews, technical assessments and due diligence engagements.
• Knowledge of data platforms, cloud architectures, analytics and AI ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth of KordaMentha's Data & AI capability through new services and client engagements.
• Design and lead modern cloud data platforms spanning data, analytics and AI workloads.
• Advise executives on technology decisions balancing outcomes, risk and value.
• Create reference architectures, standards and design patterns.
• Mentor architects and consultants to develop capability across the practice.
• Collaborate across multi-cloud platforms and with partners to deliver value.
