Job summary

OSA Darwin is seeking a Ramp Officer to join the Fixed Based team in Darwin, NT. This permanent, full-time role covers ramp duties, safety checks, aircraft refuelling, baggage handling, and ground support operations.

Reporting to the Base Manager, you will reside in Darwin on a Monday to Friday roster, with requirements including Year 12, ASIC, forklift and driver's licenses, and the ability to work in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Year 12 or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain and hold an ASIC card.
• Current Forklift license is required.
• Current Driver's Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to CHC Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Policy and all other company policies.
• Binning/replenishing.
• Maintain housekeeping, cleanliness and safety standards for store, office area and hangar.
• Refuelling of Aircraft, including hot refuelling.
• Preservation and storage of life jackets and headsets.
• Safe loading of passengers and freight into aircraft.
• Aircraft towing.
• Aircraft cleaning and polishing.
• Aircraft reconfigurations.
• Assist stores as required.
• Maintenance of ground support equipment, machinery and vehicles.
• Other duties as instructed by the Senior Base Engineer / Base Manager / Operations Officers.
