Job summary

DCOH is seeking a Darwin-based Project Manager - Environmental to lead environmental and civil projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and sustainable outcomes across our portfolio. The role requires proactive planning, strong leadership and effective stakeholder engagement with government, contractors, and communities.

You will develop Environmental & Sustainability Plans, monitor risks, supervise remediation, and report on performance, budgets and permits.

Qualifications

Experience in managing environmental and civil engineering projects.
Extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
Ability to develop and lead Environmental & Sustainability Plans.
Effective communication with government, contractors and communities.

Responsibilities

Lead environmental aspects across projects to ensure compliance and sustainability.
Monitor environmental risks and conduct regular site inspections.
Develop and update Environmental & Sustainability Plans.
Manage land remediation, waste and mitigation efforts.
Engage with government, community, contractors and consultants.
Prepare compliance reports and handle permits and renewals.
Oversee budgets and allocate resources for environmental programs.
Promote sustainability initiatives and best practices.
