Job summary

Saltbush Social Enterprises in Darwin seeks an Aboriginal Workforce Mentor Trainer or Trainee Trainer to deliver the 11055NAT Course in Mentoring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Workforce Mentors. This nationally accredited program equips mentors to support others into sustainable employment.

You don’t need prior trainer experience; strong mentoring, community, employment services or facilitation backgrounds are valued, with a willingness to develop training skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in mentoring, coaching or training support is valued.
• Background in community services or employment services is desirable.
• Ability to engage in culturally safe and strengths-based learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver or support the 11055NAT Course in Mentoring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Workforce Mentors.
• Provide engaging, face-to-face training and learning activities.
• Develop and adapt culturally relevant training resources for learners.
• Maintain accurate learner and training records and reports.
• Build strong relationships with employers, communities and stakeholders.
• Travel to regional and remote communities as required and support program delivery.
