Job summary

K&S Corporation, via its Chemtrans division, is seeking drivers to join a growing dangerous goods transport team based in Gladstone. Role centers on local and occasional overnight DG movements across North Queensland, with comprehensive on‑the‑job training and potential pathways into explosive division.

Qualifications

• MC licence with at least 1 year of proven heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Dangerous Goods licence or willingness to obtain.
• Fatigue Management accreditation or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Operate under BFM and transport bulk DG liquids around Gladstone and surrounding areas.
• Unload bulk tankers, ISOs and palletised freight at customer sites.
• Mainly local routes with some linehaul (overnight) trips.
• Use chemical suits and PPE such as respirators when required.
• Pumping of DG products using various pumps.
• Adhere to safety and compliance policies and procedures.
