Job summary

ACM Processing Pty Ltd in Girgarre, Northern Victoria, is seeking Dairy Operatives for a fixed-term season to join our dairy manufacturing team. Full on-job training is available for motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in dairy manufacturing or food processing preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced shift environment.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Willing to complete pre-employment checks including medical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic plant/machine functions including setup and cleaning.
• Take samples and perform Process Control testing.
• Collect data and maintain log sheets/records.
• Perform Cleaning In Place (CIP) and general cleaning duties.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP and safety requirements.
• Support all quality requirements and participate in shift handovers.
• Adapt to rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

ACM Processing (ACM) is an established Dairy Food Manufacturing business located in Girgarre in Northern Victoria. We take pride in producing award-winning dairy products across a diverse portfolio including Cream, Cheese, Butter and Skim Milk Powders. Our site operates to high standards of quality, safety, and technical precision, supplying products to domestic and global markets.

We are currently seeking Dairy Operatives to join our manufacturing team on a fixed term contract basis for the upcoming season.

We welcome applicants with previous manufacturing or dairy processing experience, particularly those familiar with dairy hygiene standards and food safety systems. For the right candidates, we're also open to applicants without experience who can demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Full on-job training is available for motivated individuals who have the right attitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with all factory departments to ensure total co-operation
• Basic plant/machine operation (including set up & dismantling for cleaning)
• Take samples and perform all required Process Control testing
• Data collection and record keeping(log sheets)
• Manual cleaning and operation of Cleaning In Place (CIP)
• Responsible for all quality requirements
• Compliance with all SOP’s, GMP and safety requirements
• A willingness to learn and strong attention to detail
