Macquarie Group in Sydney is seeking a Cyber Threat Defense Analyst to join the Threat Incident Response team. You’ll detect, triage, and mitigate threats across Macquarie’s global cyber environment, leveraging Splunk, EDR, and PCAPS to protect critical infrastructure.

The role focuses on analyzing attack trends, assessing vulnerabilities, and delivering proactive defensive recommendations to reduce risk and improve security posture across the organization.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 5 years of related security or technology experience in large enterprise environments.
• Experience in aggregate log analysis using Splunk or similar tools.
• Operational knowledge of an Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platform.
• Understanding of threat actor TTPs and adversarial mindset.
• Ability to perform malware analysis (manual, static, and dynamic).
