Job summary

Talenza is seeking an experienced Cyber Security, Identity & Fraud Engineer to strengthen and protect our security environment in Hastings, TAS, AU. You will lead identity and access management, cloud security, and fraud prevention initiatives, working to safeguard our enterprise and cloud ecosystems.

You will design security controls, manage Okta/Auth0 implementations, and monitor threats and vulnerabilities while aligning with ISO 27001, NIST and Essential Eight.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in cyber security engineering or operations.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, Azure and Microsoft 365, plus security technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender, SIEM, vulnerability management and security best practices.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across cloud and enterprise environments.
• Manage identity and access solutions, including Okta/Auth0.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Support fraud detection and prevention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST and Essential Eight.
