Job summary

Cuscal Limited is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer - CIAM to design, build and evolve the company’s customer identity capability. You will lead the migration of client-facing applications and APIs from legacy providers to Microsoft Entra External ID, delivering secure authentication and streamlined identity operations.

Qualifications

• Experienced CIAM practitioner with hands-on setup and operations.
• Knowledge of identity solutions and secure auth controls.
• Experience documenting system designs and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Design and support customer identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Lead migration of apps/APIs from legacy identity platforms.
• Integrate apps with SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0 and federation tech.
• Develop automation with PowerShell and Python.
• Implement MFA and Conditional Access controls.
• Collaborate with app, cloud and security teams to deliver identity outcomes.
• Simplify identity operations and reduce legacy complexity.
• Troubleshoot complex identity/access issues across environments.

Job Description

This is initially a 24-month Max Term Contract

As a Cyber Security Engineer - CIAM, you'll help design, build and enhance Cuscal's customer identity capability while leading the migration of client-facing applications, portals and APIs from legacy identity providers to Microsoft Entra External ID.

You'll make an impact by:

• Designing and supporting customer identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID
• Leading the migration of applications and APIs from legacy identity platforms
• Integrating applications using SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0 and federation technologies
• Developing automation using PowerShell, Python, Microsoft Graph and REST APIs
• Implementing secure authentication and authorisation controls, including MFA and Conditional Access
• Working closely with application, architecture, cloud and cyber security teams to deliver best-practice identity outcomes
• Driving continuous improvement by simplifying identity operations and reducing legacy complexity
• Troubleshooting complex identity and access issues across diverse environments and technologies

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

We're looking for an experienced identity engineering professional who combines strong technical capability with a practical, delivery-focused mindset.

• Experience in Client Identity and Access Management (CIAM)
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Entra External ID
• Deep knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and federation technologies
• Experience with customer-facing portals, APIs and external identity integrations
• Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python or similar languages
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management and documentation skills
