Job summary

CommTel Network Solutions Pty in Keilor Park, VIC is seeking a Cyber Security Architect | Security Officer to design and implement cybersecurity solutions for mission-critical networks and industrial systems, combining architecture with risk management and compliance.

You will lead security projects, perform risk assessments, and implement controls across ICS/OT, with ISO 27001 and Essential Eight alignment, and you must be able to obtain a National Police Clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least five years' experience in cybersecurity design and five years' experience in communications or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of mission-critical networks, ICS/OT security, SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, RTUs and industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC and DNP3.
• Experience with identity and access management, cloud security, firewalls, intrusion detection, endpoint protection, encryption and SIEM platforms.
• Experience with ISO 27001 risk and gap assessments and Essential Eight maturity assessments.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and project delivery skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
