Job summary

Origin Energy is seeking to strengthen its Security team with a role focused on exposure management in cyber security. You will collaborate with technology teams, owners and stakeholders to turn security findings into actionable tasks that protect customers, services and assets.

The ideal candidate will bring strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and a willingness to learn about security tools, vulnerabilities and remediation within a dynamic energy company.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships across infrastructure, application, cloud and vendor teams to support timely resolution of security issues.
• Investigate and validate findings, bringing together information to explain the issue and its business context.
• Communicate findings clearly and work with stakeholders to prioritise actions based on risk, impact and effort.
• Track actions through to completion, partnering with Security and Risk colleagues where further assessment or escalation is needed.
• Help maintain security tools and asset information, and contribute to reporting, documentation and process improvements.
