Job summary

Indigitise Pty Ltd is seeking a Cyber Security subject matter expert to support Uncrewed Aircraft Systems. The role involves working as a Systems Engineer in the UAS Program Office, delivering engineering services for delivery, testing, acceptance and sustainment of UAS capabilities.

You will assess supplier design disclosures for compliance, develop accreditation artefacts and risk assessments, and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience producing accreditation documentation and risk assessments.
• Ability to gather information from contractors and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISM, NIST SP 800-53 or similar.

Responsibilities

Job description

UASPO requires the support of a Cyber Security subject matter expert to support Uncrewed Aircraft Systems. The successful candidate will work as a Systems Engineer in the UAS Program Office (UASPO) team providing a range of engineering services to support the delivery, acceptance, test and evaluation, and sustainment of a range of UAS capabilities.

Perform a range of system engineering activities supporting the introduction into service of UAS including the assessment of supplied design disclosure documentation to determine compliance with requirements.

• Develop, verify, review, update and maintain accreditation documentation and compliance artefacts, including risk assessments and reports.
• Effectively gather information from contractors and communicate technical finding in plain language to non-technical stakeholders, Defence engineering, project managers, and military leadership.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls against the approved security frameworks such as ISM, Essential Eight Maturity Model etc. Potentially mapping against other frameworks where necessary such as NIST SP 800-53 and other frameworks and standards.
• Conduct security, gap analysis, compliance assessments, and assurance activities, providing detailed reporting and supporting documentation.
