Job summary

Macquarie is seeking a Portfolio Lead within its Cyber team in Australia. You will own planning, governance and delivery visibility for a portfolio of initiatives, partnering with Domain Leads to translate strategy into executable plans and ensuring the portfolio stays aligned with business priorities.

You will manage risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations while enabling informed decisions across senior technology, risk and business leaders.

What role will you play?

As a Portfolio Lead, you will own the planning, governance and delivery visibility of a portfolio of Cyber initiatives, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into realistic and achievable plans. You will partner closely with a Domain Lead, you will provide a trusted view of portfolio health, manage priorities, risks and dependencies, and enable informed decision-making across senior stakeholders. Your work will help drive successful delivery outcomes by ensuring the portfolio remains aligned, transparent and focused on the highest-value activities.

What you offer

• Extensive experience leading complex portfolios, programmes or enterprise delivery environments with multiple interconnected initiatives and competing priorities
• Strong ability to translate strategic objectives into prioritised delivery plans, balancing capacity, dependencies, risks and business outcomes
• Experience establishing and managing portfolio governance, executive reporting and decision-making frameworks that support effective delivery
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and influence senior leaders across technology, risk and business teams
• Proven experience using portfolio management tools such as Jira, combined with strong judgement, problem-solving capability and a proactive approach to managing risk, ambiguity and change.
