Job summary

CSIRO is seeking a Cyber Awareness Advisor to strengthen the organisation's cyber security culture. You will develop and deliver cyber awareness, education and engagement programs across researchers, leaders and corporate teams.

You will translate complex cyber risks and policies into clear, practical guidance and contribute to strategic planning and hands-on delivery of awareness initiatives that drive lasting behavioural change across CSIRO.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in cyber security, education, learning design, communications, or related discipline.
• Experience designing or coordinating cyber security awareness, education, training or behaviour change initiatives.
• Ability to work in evolving structures, prioritise work and deliver quality outcomes with some direction.
• Identify improvement opportunities and translate direction into delivery.
• Strong communication and facilitation to translate cyber concepts for varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve CSIRO’s cyber awareness, capability uplift and behaviour change function.
• Plan and deliver awareness, education and engagement activities including role‑based guidance and campaigns.
• Translate cyber risks and policies into clear guidance for researchers and leaders.
• Use learning principles to support cyber‑safe behaviours and improve engagement.
