Job summary

Monadelphous Group is seeking someone to operate a 12-seater bus on the wharf, including night shifts and careful reversing. The role requires coordinating with site traffic via radio and adhering to safety standards on a narrow, single-lane access road.

Ideal applicants hold an MSIC, White Card and a valid Australian driver’s license, with working at heights or confined space training preferred and availability to start immediately.

Qualifications

• Must hold MSIC and White Card and a valid Australian driver's license.
• Night-time driving on wharf and reversing a 12-seater up to 1 km.
• Available immediately and eligible to work in Australia.
• Working at Heights or Confined Space Entry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the 12-seater bus on the wharf, including night shifts and reversing to the turnaround bay.
• Use site radio to coordinate with other vehicles and workgroups requiring transport.
• Maintain safety and compliance while maneuvering on a narrow, single-lane road.

About the role

• Ad-hoc roster but similar to a 2/1 roster

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Driving the 12-seater bus on the wharf, which is a 3km long, narrow, single-lane road. This involves night time driving and reversing the vehicle up to 1km at a time to the nearest turnaround bay
• Using the site radio to communicate with other vehicles on the wharf and workgroups requiring transport

What you’ll bring:

• MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card)
• White Card
• C Class drivers license (as a minimum)
• Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry (within 3 years) - preferred
• Basic Fire (within 4 years) - preferred
• Available immediately
• Valid Australian Drivers License and Work Rights
