Job summary

Byron Bay Gifts is seeking a friendly and proactive Customer Service & Operations Coordinator for the Christmas period in our Byron Bay office. This full-time casual role runs through to approximately 22 December 2026.

You will handle online orders, assist customers, coordinate dispatch, and support daily office admin while contributing to a collaborative team focused on smooth operations and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, administration, Shopify or e-commerce is highly regarded.
• We're happy to train the right person who brings a great attitude and strong computer skills.

We're looking for a friendly, organised and proactive person to join our team full-time over the busy Christmas period in our Byron Bay office.

This is a full-time casual position running through to approximately 22 December, ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Byron Bay Gifts delivers beautifully curated gift hampers Australia-wide, with a strong focus on premium gifting and supporting local Byron Bay and Australian businesses.

A Day In Your Shoes

• Processing online orders using Shopify and StarShipit

• Assisting customers via phone, email and live chat

• Helping resolve delivery, order and product enquiries

• Supporting day-to-day office administration

• Liaising with our dispatch team during our busiest period

• Working closely with our small team to keep everything running smoothly

Position Details

Full-Time Casual – Christmas Period
Monday to Friday
8:30am – 4:30pm

Based in our Byron Bay office.

The position will run during our Christmas peak period and finish approximately 22 December 2026.
