The State Sport Centres Trust at MSAC in Parkville is hiring a Customer Experience Officer for casual/part-time duties. You will be the first contact for patrons, answering inquiries in person, by phone and email, promoting memberships and services, and processing transactions.

You will deliver exceptional service, support venue teams, conduct tours, assist in safety procedures, and help create a world-class customer experience across SSCT venues.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated computer literacy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to manage inquiries and resolve conflict.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Current Victorian Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.

The Victorian State Sport Centres Trust (SSCT) operates and maintains over $1 billion assets including four of Australia’s largest multi-sport venues, the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC), the State Netball and Hockey Centre (SNHC), Lakeside Stadium incorporating the State Athletics Centre, and Knox Regional Sports Park including the State Basketball Centre (SBC).
Unlike other major international standard venues that host sport and entertainment events, SSCT venues also provide access for users at all levels, from elite and professional athletes to school and community participants 7 days per week, up to 16 hours a day.

About the role

As the Customer Experience Officer, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Communicate with customers in person, by phone and via email to provide information about venue services, programs and memberships.

We currently have both Casual and Part-Time opportunities available at our State Netball and Hockey Centre (SNHC) in Parkville.

These roles provide flexibility and are suited to individuals who are passionate about customer service and enjoy working in a dynamic sporting environment.

Required skills and Qualifications
