As a Custody Officer, you play a vital part in creating a safe and secure environment for detainees. Each day presents challenges, and you have a variety of roles that will keep you engaged and working closely with your team.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Safely transport and supervise detainees during critical activities.
• Participate in court activities for security requirements.
• Manage conflict and communicate with empathy, making a positive impact on the lives of detainees.
• Value diversity and display a fair and open-minded attitude towards people in custody.
• Provide safety and security for Persons in Custody, staff, employees, and members of the public.
• Enjoy the variety of performing walking and mobile patrols of a designated area.
• Be responsible for supervising people in custody, escorting them to appointments or court appearances, and maintaining accurate records.
