Job summary

Government schools in Victoria are seeking teachers who are currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.

Teachers at range 1 are responsible for teaching their own classes and may assist with policy development, projects, and co-curricula activities, and participate in organisational duties as determined by the School Principal.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum areas or programs within the school.
• Undertake classroom teaching and related organisational duties as directed by the School Principal.
• Participate in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
