Job summary
St Francis Xavier College, a large 7–12 Catholic secondary school in Canberra, seeks a Coordinator of Junior Studies to lead curriculum, teaching and learning across junior and senior studies. The role requires an experienced educator with a track record in curriculum leadership and a commitment to the College’s mission, vision, and Catholic education values.
The successful candidate will work within the Curriculum Leadership team, report to the Assistant Principals’ Curriculum and Innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
- WWVP clearance.
- TQI registration.
- Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert leadership in curriculum, teaching and learning in junior and senior studies.
- Utilise best practice in current research, evidence and innovation to meet the needs of all learners.
- Report to the Assistant Principals’ Curriculum and Innovation and Teaching and Learning, and to the Principal.
