Job summary

A community-focused organization in Chirnside Park is seeking a Cultural Advisor to support Aboriginal children in maintaining cultural connections. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Aboriginal values and experience in working with children and families. This full-time position is a maternity cover role with a salary range of $88,099 to $94,791 plus super. This is a designated position for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only.

Qualifications

• Valid Police Check and a Working with Children's Check required.

Responsibilities

• Support Aboriginal children in out‑of‑home care with cultural connections.
• Develop and assess cultural plans for children and young people.
• Lead local child protection agencies in cultural activities.
