Job summary

SA Health's Port Lincoln Hospital Sterilisation Services team is seeking a CSSD professional to maintain the decontamination, sterilisation and traceability workflow essential to safe theatre operations.

This permanent part-time role (30.4 hours per week) requires a Certificate III in Sterilisation Services and experience in a CSSD environment, with strong attention to infection prevention and documentation to safeguard patient safety.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated CSSD/sterilisation experience.
• Knowledge of AS/NZS standards and SA Health policy.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminating, inspecting, assembling and sterilising reusable medical devices per standards.
• Operate and monitor autoclaves; maintain traceability records.
• Guide and support junior team members; contribute to quality/compliance activities.
• Identify and escalate instrument or equipment concerns to maintain schedules.
