Job summary

Recruitment Hive in Canberra, ACT, is seeking a Cryptography Security Engineer to design, deploy and configure enterprise cryptographic services on a 12-month contract with a February 2027 start. The role requires TSPV security clearance and hands-on PKI/HSM experience within government environments, working onsite 40 hours per week at an ACT address.

You will ensure cryptographic availability, resilience and secure API integrations across platforms.

Qualifications

Proven experience implementing cryptographic solutions in enterprise or government environments.
Experience with PKI operations and certificate lifecycle management.
Experience with encryption technologies for data at rest and in transit, including HSMs.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy and configure enterprise key management infrastructure and cryptographic services.
Implement cryptographic key lifecycle processes including generation, storage, rotation, archival, recovery and destruction.
Configure and support Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and associated cryptographic services.
Support cryptographic solution testing, validation and operational readiness activities.
Ensure cryptographic services meet availability, performance and resilience requirements.
Integrate KMS capabilities with enterprise platforms, applications and infrastructure services.
Implement secure API-based integrations supporting cryptographic operations.
