Job summary

Motion is seeking a skilled Process & Oxy Valve Technician for our Cryogenic Division to join our Unanderra workshop. In this hands-on role, you will repair, test and fit process, oxygen and cryogenic valves and related equipment.

The role emphasises safe, high‑quality workmanship, mechanical fitting and documentation, with overtime as required and market-aligned remuneration and annual salary reviews. Candidates should hold a mechanical trade qualification (Fitter/Turner/Machinist or similar),

Qualifications

• Safety-minded approach to mechanical work and testing.
• Strong attention to detail during fitting, repair and inspection.
• Clear communication with colleagues and customers on progress and issues.

Responsibilities

• Repair, overhaul and test process, oxygen and cryogenic valves and actuators.
• Perform mechanical fitting tasks including stripping, cleaning, repairing and dispatching equipment.
• Maintain accurate job docs, timesheets and progress records.
