Job summary

Guzman y Gomez in Gold Coast is seeking enthusiastic Crew Members to join our beachside team. You will greet customers, take orders, roll burritos, restock fridges, and assist with basic food prep while learning other roles across the team.

Experience helps but is not essential; RSA is desirable. We offer flexible shifts, on-the-job training, staff discounts and a clear path to grow with our growing brand.

Qualifications

Who we are

South Bank Classic Fish & Chips opened in July, bringing a classic Aussie fish & chip shop to life with a modern twist, combining fast, high-quality takeaway with relaxed dine-in service.

Located right by the beach, we’ve quickly built a loyal customer base and are looking for enthusiastic Crew Members to join our growing team. This is a true all-rounder role, giving you the opportunity to work across both customer service and kitchen operations while helping deliver great food and friendly service every day.

• Previous hospitality experience is preferred but not essential
• RSA certificate (or willingness to obtain) is desirable

Job Description

Our Crew members are the life blood of GYG. You are on the front line, greeting customers, taking orders, rolling burritos, re-stocking the fridges, basic food prep, wiping tables, and learning other roles across the team. You’ll get exposure to every aspect of what goes into running a busy, GYG business.

Experience is helpful, but it’s not everything. What we mean is:

• Experience in hospitality venues or fast paced environments is great but not essential
• You’re open to coaching, eager to learn and ready to put in the effort
• ‘Can do’ attitude and can be relied upon to follow through
