Job summary

AGL is seeking a Credit Risk Manager to shape how we acquire and onboard customers, balancing growth with risk across channels and journeys. You will lead credit and fraud risk frameworks, partnering with Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance and Legal to optimise strategies and customer outcomes.

Reporting to the Payments & Integrity Manager, you will drive governance, vendor management and cost optimisation, acting as a trusted advisor on risk decisions while embedding robust identity controls

Qualifications

• Strong analytical capability with data-driven decision making.
• Proven ability to drive end-to-end change and improve processes.
• Sound understanding of credit, fraud and risk frameworks.
• Experience in process, change or project management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve credit strategy and acceptance framework with cross-functional partners.
• Monitor credit performance and ensure policies align with governance and regulations.
• Design and deliver fraud and identity controls across onboarding journeys.
• Drive data-led insights, vendor partnerships and cross-functional collaboration.
• Engage senior stakeholders and translate insights into commercial decisions.
• Drive cost optimisation and vendor performance with strong governance.
• Manage the Customer Acquisition engine ‘Shield’ and its operations.
• Foster a culture of analytical, data-driven decision making with compliance.
