Job summary

The Careers Department in Sydney is seeking a creative Graphic Designer / Content Developer who can turn briefs into engaging work from concept through to final delivery. This role blends design with strategic thinking and offers room to shape content ideas as part of the position.

You will design digital and social assets across formats, translate ideas into compelling visuals, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage production details to ensure polished outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong graphic design experience with a portfolio demonstrating excellent visual judgement and digital-first work.
• A strategic and conceptual mindset: think about the problem behind the brief, not just the output.
• Confidence taking projects through the full creative process, from ideation to delivery.
• Strong working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience working with Wix or similar website platforms.
• Experience creating digital and social-first creative across formats.
• Strong attention to detail, typography, layout and brand consistency.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and take ownership of projects.
• Collaborative mindset and confidence presenting or explaining your creative thinking.

Responsibilities

• Take briefs from initial idea through to final execution and delivery.
• Develop original creative concepts that respond to objectives.
• Design digital and social assets across formats and channels.
• Create brand and campaign assets, including social content, web assets and collateral.
• Work in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and Wix to deliver high-quality creative.
• Translate ideas into compelling visual executions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine briefs and improve outcomes.
• Manage production details to ensure polished, ready-to-use work.
• Contribute ideas beyond the initial brief and identify opportunities to strengthen the creative.
