Job summary

Rivyl, a bold, fast-growing brand agency in North Sydney, is seeking a Creative Director – Design to lead our Brand Design team.

This hands-on leadership role will transform sharp strategy into premium, disruptive brand identity systems, while setting creative standards, developing the team and building a high-performing studio rhythm.

You will lead workshops, coach designers, and collaborate with Strategy, Accounts, Growth, Content/Media and Web to deliver standout identities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Creative Director within an agency.
• 7–10+ years overall brand/design experience.
• Strong brand identity, guidelines and systems experience.
• Proven experience leading a small design team.
• Confident presenting to senior clients.
• Portfolio with 3–5 identity case studies showing thinking and process.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Graphic Designers.
• Own brand identity projects from concept through to rollout.
• Set and maintain a seriously high creative standard.
• Lead client workshops and presentations.
• Coach and develop the design team.
• Work closely with Strategy, Accounts, Growth, Content/Media and Web.
• Build better creative processes, workflows and QA.
