Heyfield Railway Hotel in Heyfield, Victoria is seeking an experienced Chef/Cook to join our culinary team, delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef/Cook in hospitality.
• Formal culinary training or qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery).
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and food safety.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Preparing high-quality, creative meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
• Ensuring all food preparation and cooking tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards
• Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen
• Providing excellent customer service and responding promptly to guest requests
• Assisting with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
• Adhering to all relevant food safety and workplace health and safety regulations
