Job summary

MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Crane Operators and Riggers to join our team on a major underground construction project in Central West NSW. You will operate cranes underground, rig and move equipment, and work to lift plans and site procedures.

This role requires a High Risk Work Licence, crane, rigging and dogging tickets, strong safety focus, pre-start checks, and clear communication with doggers and crews.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Crane Operator or Rigger in underground, mining or construction environments.
• Current High Risk Work Licence appropriate to your role.
• Relevant crane, rigging and dogging qualifications and tickets.
• Strong understanding of lift plans, lifting procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to inspect lifting equipment and complete pre-start checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to safety.
• Availability to work a 2:1 roster across day and night shifts.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
