Job summary

MCF Australia Pty Ltd in Shepparton is seeking an experienced small crane operator to join our team. This is a full‑time role, Monday to Friday, with hours from 7am to 3pm and overtime or weekend work as required.

You will operate small cranes to move concrete products, schedule crane maintenance, supervise crane and rigging setup, implement safety procedures, and manage daily loading and unloading of materials. A C6 crane license, forklift license, and Australian driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (2-5 years) in producing, developing and moving concrete products.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships and work as a team player.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication.
• Must have a current C6 crane license and demonstrated experience using a C6 category crane and equipment.
• Current Forklift and Australian driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate small cranes to move concrete and concrete products around sites.
• Schedule regular tool and equipment maintenance for cranes and related equipment.
• Supervise OHS crane and rigging setup.
• Implement OHS procedures and monitor safety inspections and maintenance for crane operations.
• Daily loading and unloading of materials.

We are looking for an experienced small crane operator.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, general hours are 7am -3pm. Must be available to work overtime and some weekends depending on the business requirements.

While the role is based in Shepparton, you may be required to work at other locations based on the business requirements.

Your average day will include:

• Operation of small cranes to move concrete and concrete products around sites
• Scheduling regular tool and equipment maintenance for the Cranes and associated equipment
• Supervision of the OHS crane and rigging set up.
• Implementing OHS procedures, monitoring ongoing safety inspections and maintenance compliance for operating the Crane.
• Daily loading and unloading of materials

About you:

You must have the following skills and experience

• Proven experience (2-5years) in the production, development and moving and relocating concrete products.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships and work as a team player.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving/investigative skills.
• Strong communication.
• Must have a current C6 crane license and demonstrated experience using and operating a C 6 category crane and associated equipment.
• Current Forklift and Australian driver's license.
