The successful candidate will hold C0 Crane, DG, RB and HR licences, with CN/CB tickets desirable, and a proven track record in heavy industrial crane operation, safety, and teamwork.

Mount Isa Mines is currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join the team, operating 18 & 20-tonne cranes primarily within the Zinc Lead Concentrator. This role also provides crane support across the Lead Smelter, Copper Smelter, and George Fisher Mine (GFM). You’ll play a key role in executing complex lifts, supporting maintenance activities, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mobile lifting equipment across multiple processing areas.
Reporting to the Supervisor – Coordinator Maintenance, you will work a 56-hour week roster with the flexibility to support call-ins and after-hours work as required by operational demands.
