Job summary

Ray White is recruiting a generalist Website Developer with a deep specialization in Craft CMS and PHP to drive the core logic of our platforms. You will spend roughly 80% of your time building robust backend systems and 20% supporting frontend integration, ensuring a cohesive end-to-end product.

You will collaborate with web developers and the design team to deliver scalable backend features while touching the user interface as needed to improve performance and UX.

Qualifications

• Experience with Craft CMS or similar CMS to power backend.
• Professional PHP with MVC frameworks (Laravel/Symfony).
• Strong SQL and relational database design.
• JavaScript, React and modern CSS for UI components.
• Git version control for collaboration.
• Ability to write secure, optimized code and perform thorough testing.

Responsibilities

• Core Development: Build and maintain scalable server-side logic using modern PHP practices.
• Database Management: Design efficient schemas and optimize complex queries to ensure high application performance.
• API Integration: Develop and consume internal and third-party APIs to power application features.
• Frontend Support: Collaborate with the design team to implement UI components and ensure the backend data is rendered correctly and performantly.
• Quality Assurance: Write clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough testing to minimize production bugs.
