Job summary

Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Legal Service Qld – Ipswich QLD is recruiting a Court Support Officer for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidates. This role supports clients across Queensland by assisting with court preparation, paperwork, and liaison between clients and legal practitioners.

You must have a current Queensland Blue Card and a National Police Criminal Record check prior to starting.

Qualifications

• You need to be a steady driver and reliable.
• Computer skills are essential for handling court documents and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in preparing for court (criminal law support).
• Help with paperwork, legal forms, court documents, and data entry.
• Communicate between our Legal Practitioners and clients.
• Drive company vehicle to communities to assist practitioners and clients.
• Contribute to the 24/7 after-hours on-call service via roster.
