Recruit Shop Pty Ltd in Townsville is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to service local suburbs from a central distribution centre. You will deliver to homes and businesses, build strong customer relationships, and manage time to meet daily schedules.

A valid HR/MR licence and a solid delivery background are essential. This permanent full-time role offers training, career progression, and the option for overtime to increase earnings, with no weekend shifts and the ability to be home each

Qualificações

• 12+ months of experience in delivery/courier roles (food delivery not counted).
• A valid HR/MR Driver’s Licence.
• Positive attitude and professional presentation.
• Good physical condition for regular lifting and handling.

About The Opportunity

Starting from the centralised Distribution Centre location in Townsville, you will service suburbs in the surrounding area based on the daily demand. Some of your main responsibilities include:

• Safely completing deliveries as per your schedule


• Deliver products to various residential and commercial locations


• Building and nurturing customer relationships through excellent service and communication


• Managing your time effectively to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction


• Performing regular lifting and manual handling in accordance with safety protocols

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• 12+ months of experience in a similar delivery/courier driver role (food delivery experience not considered)


• A valid HR/MR Driver’s License


• A positive attitude and a high level of presentation


• Great physical condition with the ability to perform regular lifting and manual handling tasks

You will also have:

• Professional presentation with great communication


• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills


• Excellent time management and organisational skills


• The capacity to self-manage and adapt to changing demands
