Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver for the Singleton/Hunter Valley region. The role involves completing scheduled deliveries and collections, loading and unloading equipment, and handling basic paperwork.

Ideal candidates will have a current HR Licence, a clean driving record, and the ability to perform manual handling. Prior experience in mining or industrial supply is preferred. This is a part-time position with on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company delivery van to complete scheduled deliveries and collections.
• Safely load, secure and unload filters, equipment and related products.
• Complete delivery paperwork and perform basic vehicle pre-start checks.
• Liaise professionally with customers at delivery and collection points.
• Assist with general labouring, warehouse and operational duties as required.
• Follow all road safety, manual handling and WHS procedures.

Our client is a leading industrial and mechanical supply company servicing the mining and industrial sectors across the Hunter Valley. They are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to join their team and assist with scheduled deliveries, collections and general operational duties.

Delivery Driver

• $40/hr + Penalties
• 2 3 Days per week
• Location: Singleton / Hunter Valley

What You Will Be Doing

• Drive a company delivery van to complete scheduled deliveries and collections.
• Safely load, secure and unload filters, equipment and associated products.
• Complete delivery paperwork and basic vehicle pre-start checks.
• Liaise professionally with customers at delivery and collection points.
• Assist with general labouring, warehouse and operational duties as required.
• Follow all road safety, manual handling and WHS procedures.

What You Will Need

• Current HR Driver Licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Safe and responsible driving history.
• Physically fit and capable of regular manual handling and loading/unloading.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Experience within mining, industrial or mechanical supply environments.
• Familiarity with the Singleton / Hunter Valley area.
• Previous delivery, courier or commercial driving experience.

Desirable

• Forklift (LF) Licence.
