Job summary

Direct Couriers is seeking a Courier Owner Driver to join a nationwide network. This role offers a 3-year Owner Driver Contract with a weekly minimum revenue guarantee and potential extension, plus support to purchase a suitable van and arrange vehicle finance.

No courier experience is required, as induction and training are provided before starting. Work is Monday to Friday, from home at 7am, with availability to collect work until 5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Australian driver's license.
• Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid visa with unrestricted work rights.
• Must have an ACN, ABN and be registered for GST (Pty Ltd). If you don't currently have one, assistance is provided to help you get one setup and ready.
• You will need to own a suitable van or be willing to purchase one (assistance with purchasing a suitable van is available).
• Enjoy working with people, being on the road and operating independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a Direct Couriers owner driver delivering B2B and residential parcels.
• Work Monday to Friday, starting from home at 7am.
• Remain available to collect work up to 5:00pm.
• Serve customers across a range of industries and suburbs with day-to-day variety.

• 3-year Owner Driver Contract and a 3-year weekly Minimum Revenue Guarantee (The contract can be extended at the end of the term).
• Majority of work consists of Business-to-Business jobs with a smaller portion of consumer/residential deliveries.
• Assistance available to help you purchase a suitable van if you do not currently own one.
• Access and support in obtaining vehicle finance from a range of finance providers.
• No previous courier experience required - Induction and training provided prior to commencing.
• If required, comprehensive step-by-step guidance provided to help you establish and start your courier business.
• Required courier equipment is supplied.
• Work is Monday to Friday. Start from home at 7am.
• Required to remain available to collect work up to 5:00pm
• Enjoy day-to-day variety with no fixed territory, servicing customers across a range of industries and suburbs.
