Job summary

Healius in New South Wales is seeking a Pathology Courier to join our courier team. You will collect and deliver pathology samples, reports and medical supplies across collection centres, practices, hospitals and laboratories on a scheduled route.

This casual role offers variety with shifts Monday to Sunday and public holidays, requiring reliability, good time management and careful handling of sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Previous courier, delivery or transport experience is desirable
• Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence with a safe driving record

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver pathology samples, blood products, vaccines, reports, medical supplies and clinical waste
• Complete required transport, specimen and delivery documentation accurately
• Deliver reports and assist with laboratory stock and supply requirements
• Handle patient information and medical items safely and confidentially
• Follow all safety, quality and compliance procedures, including Work Health and Safety requirements

About The Role

As a Pathology Courier, you'll be responsible for collecting and delivering pathology samples, reports, medical supplies and other items between collection centres, medical practices, hospitals and laboratories. Following a scheduled route, you'll help make sure important deliveries are made safely, accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver pathology samples, blood products, vaccines, reports, medical supplies and clinical waste
• Complete required transport, specimen and delivery documentation accurately
• Deliver reports and assist with laboratory stock and supply requirements
• Handle patient information and medical items safely and confidentially
• Follow all safety, quality and compliance procedures, including Work Health and Safety requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll be reliable, organised and comfortable working independently. You'll be confident managing your time, following procedures and getting things where they need to be safely and on time.
