Job summary

Relationships Australia NSW in Gosford is seeking a qualified counsellor to provide high-quality counselling and therapy to couples, families and individuals, addressing relationship issues using a Family Systems Framework.

You will work four days per week at Gosford, with occasional Saturday or after-hours as needed, earning approximately $50.87–$56.83 per hour plus super and salary packaging benefits.

Qualifications

• Postgrad Relationship Counselling or Couple and Family Counselling qualifications.
• Registered or eligible to be registered with PACFA or ACA.
• Experience working with couples, individuals and families using a robust Family Systems clinical framework.
• Strong understanding of family dynamics, child protection, domestic violence, mental health, and addiction.
• A calm, professional and compassionate approach when engaging with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality counselling and therapy to couples, families and individuals to address the issues impacting their relationships.
• Address issues including general conflict, communication, domestic violence, mental health, addiction issues and child-protection.
• Use a Family Systems Framework in your counselling and provide information and referrals to improve the wellbeing of your clients.

What you'll do

You’ll provide high-quality counselling and therapy to couples, families and individuals to address the issues impacting their relationships. This can include general conflict, communication, domestic violence, mental health, addiction issues and child-protection. You’ll use a Family Systems Framework in your counselling and provide information and referrals to improve the wellbeing of your clients.
