Job summary

1800 Drivers is seeking an experienced Transport Yard forklift operator for ongoing to permanent work in Sydney. The role offers an ongoing afternoon shift from Monday to Friday, starting at 12.30pm, with 8–10 hours per day, operating a counterbalance forklift.

You will assist with loading and unloading trucks and moving freight around the warehouse, ensuring safe handling of goods and adherence to load restraint guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current High Risk LF - counter balance forklift licence & experience in transport yards.
• Understand load restraint guideline.
• Good understanding of the loading/unloading of general freight.
• Will assist with tautliners, container and securing of the freight.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Move freight around the warehouse.
• Load and secure freight for transport.
• Support with tautliners and container handling.
