Job summary

Allan Hall Business Advisors – Newcastle NSW is seeking a reliable team member to join our local branch as a warehouse/counter assistant. You will help customers at the trade counter and over the phone, process orders, prepare quotes and assist with stock control.

Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with training and development provided. forklift licence helpful but not essential; possessing a valid Australian work right is required to join our close-knit team at this growing national supplier.

Qualifications

• Experience with fasteners, tooling or construction products is a plus.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic required.
• Current driver’s licence and Australian working rights essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Serving customers at the trade counter and over the phone
• Processing orders, preparing quotes and helping customers find the right products
• Picking, packing and receiving stock
• Keeping the warehouse organised and stock accurate
• Supporting the team with general branch operations

About You

You may already know your way around fasteners, tooling, construction products or trade supplies. Alternatively, you could be starting out and ready to learn from the ground up. Either way, you’ll need:

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Confidence speaking with customers
• A reliable and practical approach
• A current driver’s licence and full Australian working rights
• A forklift licence would be helpful but isn’t essential
