A leading manufacturing company located in Heatherbrae is seeking a Cost Accountant to shape standard costing across its operations. The successful candidate will analyze manufacturing efficiencies and support decision-making to improve profitability. With a strong focus on financial reporting, applicants should have qualifications in finance or accounting, and experience in the manufacturing industry is essential. Based at our Heatherbrae site and reporting to the Head of Finance and Business Control, the Cost Accountant plays an important role in shaping and maintaining standard costing across our manufacturing operations. You'll help analyse efficiencies, understand variances, and support thoughtful decision-making that improves profitability, reduces waste, and strengthens our business.
This role works closely with a supportive management team, where your insights will directly contribute to both operational and financial improvements.
You bring strong analytical capability, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset. With tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting - and experience in cost accounting using accounting systems and advances Excel functions.
