Job summary

NSW Department of Communities and Justice is seeking a Psychologist/Specialist Psychologist to work at Lithgow Correctional Centre in a role focused on assessment, intervention, and risk management for remand and custodial populations. Qualifications

• Minimum four-year accredited qualification in psychology.
• Current full AHPRA registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
• Driver's license and willingness to travel throughout NSW.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychological assessment and intervention for remand and custodial populations.
• Advise on offender mental health and criminogenic risk.
• Produce clear, concise reports and clinical documentation.
• Accurately record case activity in OIMS.
• Collaborate to drive behaviour change, risk reduction and safe community reintegration.
• Attend professional development and networking opportunities including the annual CSNSW Psychology Conference.
