Job summary

Corrective Services NSW is seeking Psychologist/Specialist Psychologist at Lithgow Correctional Centre to deliver assessments and interventions for remand and custodial populations. You will advise on offender mental health and criminogenic risk, and produce clear reports while maintaining accurate case activity in OIMS.

The role offers opportunities to collaborate on behavior change, risk reduction and community reintegration, with professional development and a focus on evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum four-year accredited qualification in psychology.
• Current full AHPRA registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel NSW.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychological assessment and intervention for remand and custodial populations.
• Advise on offender mental health and criminogenic risk, including violent and sexual offending.
• Produce clear, concise reports and clinical documentation.
• Accurately record case activity in OIMS.
• Collaborate to drive behaviour change, risk reduction and safe community reintegration.
• Attend professional development and networking opportunities, including the CSNSW Psychology Conference.
