Flight Centre Travel Group is seeking a Corporate Travel Consultant to manage emergency accommodation bookings for a national insurance company. You will connect with customers with empathy, handle bookings efficiently, and work in a team while also comfortable working autonomously.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in travel consulting or be eager to enter corporate travel, with a focus on high-quality service and willingness to learn new systems. Sabre GDS knowledge is a plus.

About the Opportunity: FCM Corporate Travel Consultant - Accommodation

In this role you will manage emergency accommodation bookings for a national insurance company. You’ll be someone who loves to connect with customers and can show compassion and empathy in times of need.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year travel consulting experience, however this could also be an opportunity for the right candidate to step into corporate travel without a travel background and build up their experience. Our ideal candidate will understand what excellent service means for customers and be business and travel industry oriented. You’ll like working in a team environment, but also comfortable working autonomously.

All about You:

• Experience booking accommodation or other travel arrangements in a professional / administrative capacity

Strong Verbal and Written communication with an ability to listen carefully, demonstrate empathy and deliver clear options

Experience in a customer service role

Ability to learn new systems

Multitasking and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines and customer expectations in a fast paced environment

High attention to detail

A 'can do' attitude

Leisure or corporate travel management

Global Distribution System (GDS) - Sabre would be highly regarded!
