Job description

For the dealmaker who wants a seat at the table - not just a model to build.

This is not a traditional corporate development role. This is an opportunity to help architect the future of a high-growth, private equity-backed healthcare platform with serious ambition, strong investment backing, and an aggressive acquisition agenda.

We’re looking for an exceptional M&A professional with the commercial instinct, intellectual horsepower, and executive presence to become a key force within the business. Someone equally comfortable in the boardroom, in a founder meeting, or deep inside a complex financial model.

If you’re currently in Big 4 Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Lead Advisory, or already operating within a PE-backed environment and feel ready for something bigger, more entrepreneurial, and more influential this could be the defining move in your career.

The Opportunity

As Corporate Finance Manager - M&A, you will work directly with senior leadership and investors to drive the company’s growth strategy across a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

You’ll own transactions end-to-end, from identifying and originating opportunities through to execution and completion while helping shape and professionalise the broader M&A function as the business scales.

This is a role for someone who wants exposure, accountability, influence, and the chance to become a future CFO, Corporate Development Director, or CEO.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead acquisitions from origination through to completion, including valuation, financial analysis, negotiation support, due diligence, and execution.
  • Identify and engage directly with founders, shareholders, and management teams of target businesses.
  • Build and manage a high-quality acquisition pipeline alongside the executive leadership team.
  • Help shape the company’s M&A strategy and broader growth agenda.
  • Conduct market mapping, commercial analysis, and competitive intelligence to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across finance, legal, commercial, operational, and external advisory teams.
  • Play a visible role in high-impact strategic projects within a fast-moving PE-backed environment.
About You

You’re ambitious, commercially sharp, and intellectually curious. You combine technical excellence with strong interpersonal skills and have the confidence to operate in high-stakes environments.

You’re not looking for a “safe” role.

You’re looking for trajectory.

We’re particularly interested in individuals who bring:

  • CA qualification with a strong academic background.
  • Several years’ experience within M&A, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, or Deal Advisory, ideally from a Big 4 environment.
  • Additional experience within industry, corporate development, or a PE-backed business.
  • Exceptional financial modelling and analytical capability.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to make decisions in imperfect environments.
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel expertise, with exposure to Power BI and Tableau.
  • A genuine interest in healthcare and high-growth businesses
Why This Role Stands Out
  • Direct exposure to senior executives, investors, and transformational transactions.
  • Genuine influence over strategic direction and growth.
  • High visibility and accelerated career progression.
  • A fast-growth, entrepreneurial culture where performance is recognised and rewarded.
  • The opportunity to build something meaningful in a sector that genuinely impacts lives.

This is the kind of role that attracts future leaders. Commercially minded, ambitious individuals who want more than just another line on their CV.
