  • Graphic design and video editing experience preferable.
  • Experience writing for regulated industries and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The Corporate Communications Content Lead plays a key operational role in supporting the execution of the company's internal and external communications activities. Working closely with the Investor Relations and Corporate Communications team, this position is responsible for developing and publishing content, coordinating communication projects, supporting media and social media activities, responding to internal stakeholder requests, and helping ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality and compliant corporate messaging.

This position requires a highly organized, proactive communications professional with strong writing and editing skills, digital content expertise and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Preference will be given to candidates that are in the Melbourne, VIC or Sydney, NSW areas.

Key Accountabilities:
Content Development & Editorial Support
  • Draft, edit and proofread a range of communications materials, including:
    • Press releases Corporate website content
    • Social media posts – writing, tile design and video editing
    • Speaking notes and presentation materials
    • Internal communications
    • Ensure all communications align with corporate messaging, brand standards, and editorial guidelines.
    • Support the preparation and distribution of external communications and announcements.
Social Media & Digital Content
  • Create and schedule content across corporate social media channels including LinkedIn, X, Facebook and other platforms as appropriate.
  • Develop visual and written content to support product, commercial, scientific and corporate milestones.
  • Monitor social media activity and recommend opportunities to increase engagement and reach.
  • Track performance metrics and prepare regular reports on digital and social media effectiveness.
  • Maintain a forward-looking content calendar.
Communications Operations & Stakeholder Support
  • Act as a first point of contact for communications requests from cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate the intake, prioritization and tracking of communications projects.
  • Support communication campaigns, product launches, events and corporate initiatives.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders across commercial, medical, R&D, finance and executive teams to gather information and develop content.
  • Maintain communications planning tools, calendars and project trackers.
Media & External Communications Support
  • Assist with media monitoring and prepare daily or weekly summaries.
  • Work with external agencies to maintain media contact databases and communications distribution lists.
  • Coordinate publication of press releases and website updates.
  • Support preparation of executive and spokesperson materials including Q&A documents, backgrounders and interview preparation.
Brand & Communications Governance
  • Help ensure consistency of messaging across all channels.
  • Maintain communications templates, style guides and content libraries.
  • Support approval workflows and document management processes.
  • Ensure communications activities comply with applicable corporate policies and disclosure requirements.
Position Requirements:
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, content strategy, or external affairs, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Graphic design and video editing experience (experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma preferable)
  • Experience writing for scientific, healthcare, or highly regulated industries.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and content calendars.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint and digital collaboration tools. Experience with digital content management systems (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot).
