Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a professional service technician for on-site work in Melbourne. You will perform operational, maintenance and repair tasks on commercial chillers, air handling units, and unitary air conditioning systems, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety policies.

You will participate in after-hours standby, train apprentices, and contribute to generating new client leads for small service repairs while collaborating with team members to deliver reliable HVAC

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and unplanned service, maintenance and commissioning of all types of Trane and other brand of Chiller Plants, Air Handling Units and Unitary Air Conditioning Systems
• Accurate and timely completion of required paperwork related to work performed
• Participate in the after hours standby duty roster
• Fostering and maintaining professional working relationships amongst technicians and apprentices and continually demonstrate the ability to work within pairs and smaller teams
• Comply with all safety, company and statutory policies and procedures at all times
• Actively participate in all company facilitated training and service meetings as required by the company
• As required by the company, facilitate on-site training for technicians/ apprentices as well as supervise work performed by an allocated apprentice
• Quote and bring new client leads of small service repairs

Where is the work:

On-Site (5 days)

Provide exceptional support as part of a team of professional service technicians, responsible for carrying out operational, maintenance and repair works on commercial Chillers and HVAC equipment
