Leidos Australia is seeking a Core Services Engineer to deliver mission-critical Windows infrastructure for a national security program. The role involves designing, administering and supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP in a secure, 100% onsite environment in Melbourne or Canberra.
You will build and optimise VMware-based virtualised infrastructure, implement automation, and work with cyber security and software teams to ensure resilient, secure services.

The Mission Software Solutions business delivers customized and off-the-shelf software solutions to Defence, Intelligence and other Government sectors. You will be joining a high-profile program, with high profile agency working on a program with National Security significance. As a Core Services Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation, performance and continuous improvement of Windows-based enterprise services supporting secure customer environments.
Due to the client environment and nature of the work, this position is required to be performed 100% onsite in either Melbourne or Canberra.

We are looking for someone who brings judgement, curiosity and a collaborative approach to work that matters. You are an experienced Windows Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and maintaining reliable enterprise services in mission-critical environments.
Essential for this role:
This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen and hold, and maintain, a TSPV clearance. Applicants may also need to meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements. In certain circumstances this can place limitations on persons who hold dual nationality, permanent residency or are former nationals of certain countries as per ITAR 126.1.
