Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced Software Developer to work on a business-critical Fiserv Signature Core Banking application. The role covers development, enhancement, maintenance and production support for AS400/iSeries, RPG, CLLE, DB2 and SQL across multiple environments.

You will be involved in requirements analysis, design documentation, deployment and troubleshooting, ensuring timely delivery and high quality. Collaboration with stakeholders and knowledge sharing are key expectations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Signature application and AS400/iSeries.
• Expertise in RPG programming and CLLE.
• Strong DB2/SQL, batch processing, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with deployment across Dev/Test/Prod using change tools.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end development, enhancement and maintenance for the banking app.
• Prepare design artefacts (HLD/LLD) and perform impact analysis.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform post-production support.

We are looking for software developer who can work on business-critical Fiserv Signature Core Banking application, responsible for development, enhancement, maintenance, and production support using AS400/iSeries, RPG, CLLE, DB2, and SQL. Involved in requirement analysis, impact assessment, design documentation (HLD/LLD), coding, batch processing, deployment, and troubleshooting across multiple environments. Collaborated with stakeholders to implement banking system enhancements, resolve critical production issues, and support continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in the areas of Development, Enhancement, and Maintenance for the business-critical banking application.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the application, including business rules.
• Requirement gathering, able to prepare HLD, LLD including impact analysis of the current enhancement.
• Responsible for handling end to end development process across all the environments.
• Postproduction support from troubleshooting to the resolution of high-priority issues causing impacts to the client’s IT systems during warranty period.
• Analysis of the current system and providing inputs/suggestions to the client for the enhancement of the system.
• Prioritize and perform multiple tasks.
• Contribution to process improvement and innovation.
• Work with a team of people with varied backgrounds and in a diverse multicultural environment.
• Contribution and ownership of the requirement documents in the Development, Enhancement and Maintenance projects.
• Sharing and promoting knowledge within the team.
• Good team player, proactive and willingness to support as per the client’s requirements.

SKILLS

Must have

• 8+ years of on experience on Signature application and AS400/iSeries, RPG, CLLE, DB2, SQL, ILE concepts for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Must have expertise in RPG programming.
• Good hands-on working experience on development projects on AS400 platform using RPG.
• Hands on experience with Batch Processing and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in CL, DB2 with strong programming, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Experience in enhancing, and maintaining DB2, RPG and CL programs.
• Experience in any change management tool like Turnover, ACMS, for the deployment activities across various environments (Dev, Test, and Production).

• Experience with customer communication management (CCM) tools.
• Experience in system integration and migration initiatives.
• Experience in technical documentation and solution design.
• Exposure to banking or financial services platforms.
